The vines embed the old stone walls
Over time rooted deep, grown old
Two white pillars proudly stand
Through the wind, through the rain and the cold
The long tree-lined driveway
Where I first put my hand to the wheel
A romantic image, dare I say
I ended up in the field
And you can walk, but time will run away
Sweet memories hid in pictures till this day
The crooked door led you into the warmth
Find a place on the stone by the fire
We'll stay up late into the night
And sisters would retire
Ooh
But as we get old, the times got hard
Scrimping and saving, a little less in that jar
For to travel to the place that we'd known
We must let go, of what we know
You can walk, but time will run away
Sweet memories hid in pictures till this day
